Wolmar is the hotel strip immediately south of Flic en Flac — the same coast and the same sunset, but resorts and private beach rather than a public one. Almost all of the eating here happens inside those hotels, which is why the list is short and the restaurants on it are a step up in both ambition and price.

Worth knowing: hotel restaurants in Mauritius are generally open to non-residents, and booking is how you get in. If you are staying in Flic en Flac, Wolmar is a few minutes down the coast road and worth the trip for a particular table. The Flic en Flac page has the wider, less formal choice.
